Trash-Off Information

The City of Blanco will be hosting their Trash-Off event during the last week of March; this event is open to City of Blanco citizens only and citizens will be required to show a voucher before unloading at the City Yard. Vouchers are available at City Hall during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The City Yard, located at 455 Jones Avenue, will be open March 28 through April 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and April 2 from 8 a.m. to noon. Materials such as trash, metal, batteries, electronics, cars, etc., will be accepted at this location. Tires, paints, household garbage, and animals/carcasses will not be accepted at the City Yard. Both dumpster diving and scavenging are prohibited. The City reserves the right to refuse any load that may be harmful or unsafe to persons or property, and is not responsible for any accidents, or damage, to personal property while participating in the Trash-Off event. This is a "rain or shine" event.
City of Blanco residents who need help due to health concerns, disabilities, etc. can sign up at City Hall or online for assistance. Citizens will be able to sign the list between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and must sign up by April 1. Keep Blanco Beautiful volunteers will collect the items on the curb on Sat., April 2.
